You can also enlarge the content by using the magnificer on the right side of the status bar. By default it is set at 100% and using the arrow beside the size you can take it from 50 to 400% or anywhere in beteen using the custom setting. I use that a lot when I want an englarged image of quilts.

Your monitor should have a ahndicap setting also that will let you make it bigger.

Yes, that's one way.The kids at school used to make the screen orientation go sideways and upside down as well until they realised I knew how to put them the correct way up again...one learnt a lot from their work avoidance antics.
