You can also hold down the ctrl button and spin the wheel on your mouse to do the same.

ctrl- makes it smaller - ctrl0 takes it back to normal

In my browser, Sea Monkey I go to View and choose 120 % and it enlarges just the text. Pictures stay the same size.
