A California poppy. Reminds of home. I had them planted along my neighbors cyclone fence.

It's a California Poppy, flower of the state of my birth. Nothing quite so beautiful as driving thru the hills when they are covered with the poppys in bloom.

That of course is the Golden Poppy, state flower of California.

California Poppy!!! I love it when the hills are filled with them, it is so pretty!!!

I actually had three blossoms on my pale yellow magnolia.
Thought I was going to lose the main trunk two years ago...slowly died back to the ground while at the same time there appears three shoots from the root stock! Yeah!
Sorry, no camera = no pictures.......maybe some day... sigh.
