Mine: Sunsets out my kitchen window.
Dusk and right before dawn.
smell of freshly mown grass(smell ;not acually mowing it)
The smell of a good meal cooking in the crockpot when you come home.
Fire crackling in fireplace.
Marshmellow roast with my kids and husband
Listening to the frogs and crickets chirping while sitting out at dusk on the front porch.
Listening to a cow call her new baby and seeing it or assisting it into this world and taking it's first step/suckle.
Rocking a baby and watching them sleep.
Small and big hands inside yours.
Taking pics. of my kids.
Watching them play in the rain and mud puddles.
Rainbows
Silence when kids and husband are asleep(it's sewing time!!!!)
Seeing my husband walk across the yard after a long day at work , dusty and dirty and tired.Be still my heart....
Moments that you are in awe of God's love and his creation of us and the things around us.We all know how our eyes work but have you ever just stopped and really thought about how wonderful they do their jobs and all of the lovely things we get to enjoy looking at.(Had to take DD to eye Doc. got to look at slides of her eyes inside.wow.amazing.
Tears streaming down my face  while trying to type this and condense all of my blessings and pleasures into just one post, there's just not enough room.

The little pleasures in life don't cost anything and it's so wonderful to see so many quilters appreciation of the small things. So neat. I love mornings with my coffee cup and listening to the house still sleeping. Hubby snoring, our dog snoring and the cat all curled up sleeping too. Just me talking to God offering prayers for family, friends, the mess in the Gulf and there is so much to be thankful for like this quilting board.

Coffee outside at sunrise, listening to the birds awaken
That first morning stretch that makes me moan with pleasure
A clean kitchen
New fabric
Quilt Guild and these messages
An ebay delivery
Cleaning closets -- it is like a free shopping spree
A rainy Sunday with a stack of cookbooks and a bottle of red wine
Sitting by my fire ring late at night, watching the bats catch bugs, while enjoying a glass of brandy and a little cigar

I have worked hard all my life and enjoy every breathe I take and most of the things I do give me great pleasure.

When my 19 yr old DD says "I Love You" before I say it first.
Watching her excitement as she got ready for her last prom and graduation and now as she is starting to prepare to leave for college.
When my DS calls me from college for no reason, just to talk!
Sitting with a cup of coffee in the morning on my new patio.
Life is good - I have a wonderful husband, great kids, good friends and all of you!

Waking up to the purring of my old cat that loves only me.
Hearing my grand daughters beautiful voice
Seeing my kids happy and growing.
Knowing every day I am doing good things for others.
