where did you get the pattern? or is it yours?

I LOVE the quilt it landed on.It must have been so scared! May I ask the name of the pattern for your quilt, I have a grandaughter who would love something like that. Thank you for sharing.

Such an adorable landing strip for an unwelcome guest!!! My children taught me how to tie small pebbles in the corner of a white dishtowel, toss it in the air and a bat will fly into white spot. Don't know why but it works. Then you can just take it outdoors inside the towel and set it free. When we lived on a Ranch, the bats were frequent visitors, and I was a frequent screamer.

Some of God's creatures can't resist exploring,lol!

I don't love the bat except when they are outside catching bugs but I do love your quilt! I have that pattern and have always wanted to make it ...... eventually.

Oh my! At first glance I thought "what a good idea to put a silk flower in the corner" and then I realized what it was! Would have scared me for sure. Glad you were able to catch it.

Ooh, I'd have been scared to death! My DD had one in her dorm room last fall (2nd day of classes. Her dorm was an old converted house on campus.) Her roommate got bitten while trying to get it out (my DD was hiding under the covers) and they had to make a trip to the ER at 2am. Poor roommie had to get the rabies shots in her hand because that's where the bite was. The next night there was one in someone else's room. Thankfully, this year she's in a newer dorm.

for anyone interested, here is the original post of this bunny quilt. Scroll down for the pattern information. It is from a book.

Sorry so many are eeek'd out by a little bat. They are mostly harmless and quite fun to watch.

Thanks for liking the quilt. It was fun to make.

Nothing like a complete stranger making claims to a wonderful quilt. At least you know it also passes critter inspection. Your quilt is awesome. I can see why he took to it.

Your quilt is adorable but your intruder..... not so much! I go with "YIKES"

mike'sgirl 09-10-2015 05:19 PM

Cute quilt. I actually like bats. I'm sure it was glad to get out.

AngeliaNR 09-10-2015 07:48 PM

You take your batting seriously! I'm assuming he was natural and not a synthetic? :D

Poor little one. I just love your quilt but he did also. I just don't think I would be gifting it to him. UGH

kaylfordsollimo 09-11-2015 08:29 PM

My thoughts exactly !!!!!

earthwalker 09-11-2015 09:24 PM
