Literally, bats and quilts
 

A local visitor had the good taste to choose my bunny quilt to rest on while trying to figure out how in the world it got itself into my bedroom. I'd like to know too! Spent an hour dodging me and DH until it was caught in a bucket with a quilting magazine for a cover and put outside.

Always finding new ways to use quilting tools!:D

Dh checks our attic for the little critters no matter what. I hate anything flying at me.

It's the Quilting Police doing undercover work! However, she could not find anything wrong with the bunny quilt! It's gorgeous!!

Oh that's scary. Be careful, it could be ill and have rabies. One can't tell if the bat has bitten or not. like a mosquito bite. So watch out.

Yes, the bat had good taste in quilts.
I had one get caught in the lining of my jacket once. It was unclear which of us was more alarmed.

All I can think of it YIKES! Found a lizard one day sunny himself on my bed.

Lovely quilt! I like bats...from a distance...but not in my house! I lose all dignity and my reasoning goes in full panic mode. Congrats to you for getting it out without hurting yourself or it.

I would of been so startled and dumbfounded! I think I'd have to move.

It shows that the bat has great taste in choosing its place of rest! Your cute is so cute. I do know that bats can get through the tiniest of places. They are interesting critters to say the least-but better suited to the outdoors!

Love your bunnies!. We've had 2 bats this summer,they always come flying in when I'm sleeping.They say just sit and wait until they land, its much easier to "bag" them then. I think ours came in the chimney which is wired now

One flew down the chimney in our house years ago and scared the daylight out of our Greyhound. Poor Jenny B came to me for protection :-)

Those things rank right up there with snakes as creatures I really, really dislike. I would have went flying out of the house and not went back until that creature was gone. Geez!!!

I was raised with a neighbor and his snakes and spent time at Carlsbad caverns NM and so like bats, very interesting critters. So happy you got it back outside, thank you for doing that. Quilt is adorable and I am sure he liked it too.

Love the little bats so look like a dragon up close had one that got in our cabin land on my chest told dh to open door and turn on out side lights when he did the little guy took off and went on out, lol

Awwww! I grew up with bats on the farm. They would come out at night and fly around our property. Though you do have to be careful with them, I'm glad you could catch and release safely. It knew that your beautiful quilt was the perfect place to roost!
