If you feel like you are getting a sore throat or a cold do the following:

place a couple of drops of "Oil of Oregano" under your tongue, do not swallow yet, then drink a large glass of cold water, then swallow the Oil of Oregano _as you drink the water, it is very strong the first time you try this, but it will get easier and easier.
each time you do this.

I have not had a cold in years, since I was advised to do this. You do have to do this as soon as you feel a sore throat or cold coming on or it doesn't work.

Many years ago, my husband who has enormous tonsils had an awful case of tonsillitis. Until the swelling went down, he was advised to sip sage tea. Don't remember how many fresh leaves I steeped but probably if you googled it...... It wasn't great tasting but with a little honey, it was palatable and it did help. Also, if you are able to find slippery elm lozenges, they take the burn out.

What an interesting thread! Hot Tang, or apple cider gargle. All knew to me. Thanks for sharing.
