... having a husband who literally didn't leave my bedside when I was seriously ill a few years ago. He wouldn't let any doctors or nurses even TOUCH me without his consent. He had to know what they were doing, and why they were doing it ... for the 4+ months that were spent in and out of the hospital, E/R, and various doctors' offices. And then he stood right by my side during the devastating financial aftermath.
High school sweethearts, dated for 6 years, married for 22, and still going strong. :) And he supports my hobbies! ;) |
Not saying a word when DH has lost his company and now makes 1/3 of what he made before, and we can't pay the bills, and he goes out and buys a book on something he just got interested in. Gotta love 'em!!!

A husband who is better than me at finding the fabric and sewing deals at yardsales and thrift stores.

Love is knowing that no matter where he is, it's home, and I'm safe there.

Prefilling a weeks' worth of coffee filters with the coffee grounds before leaving on a vacation without your husband.

Love is bringing home another vintage machine, even tho there's no room for them, just because he knows I like them.
