I follow these rules also (except for the wash on Mondays as I wash every other day due to limited clothesline space), must be something that was ingrained in me from an early age  Funny what we still do long after we leave home.

you're going to laugh - I still line-dry and follow ALL those rules!!

Oh I remember it well. We only did that in the nice weather. But the clothes smelled wonderful. I used to do it when I had a house with a high fenced in yard. Now I am in a condo so there a books of rules that outlaw such things. Boy those were the good ole days. We conserved fuel and didn't even have to.

I hung my sheets on the neighbors clothes line today. Can't wait to go to bed, the sheets will smell so good.
|
Yeah I remember all these rules. My Mom 85 still does this. I wish I could, but unfortunately we're not allowed to hang clothes in this neighbor hood. It would save on electric, I remember when I used to wash clothes on the board too; and then hung what wouldn't fit on the three clothes lines went on the barb wire fence with exactly two prongs in between the pants leg of jeans. They call them the good ole days. huh

Oh, yes, and I still do that when I hang the laundry out on the line. I love the smell of sheets dried outside.
|
oh I so remember that

Just what my Ma taught me to do. I do miss having a clothes line.
