I found this wood that was just going to be in a burn pile. They said I could have what I wanted...so I took a carload of wood home. Most of it has to sit and dry some more, but I did manage to get a few of these done. Hope you like them.

Great idea...they would also look great surrounding a mirror or photo frame...very organic.

Beautiful looking wood- if you can drill some holes, you can also have buttons (I just had a thought, can't tell how big these are).

those are nice. in one of my daughter's camp, they gathered real thin slices of wood, polished them & made them into pendants. very cool.

I use E-6000. That is an industrial strength glue. Holds up very well.

lol...I do have some buttons made already. Great minds think alike. I just didn't put pics up here yet.

Yes, me too. I grew up with both parents doing wood work so I love looking at wood and the variations in it.
