He is adorable! Cherish each moment you have with him...they grow so fast.

dakotamaid 05-23-2013 04:55 PM

Oh, he does bring back memories. My "babies" are 29 and 30! As everyone else says, "trust me the time goes fast!!!" :)

nanacc 05-23-2013 05:25 PM

A creation much more beautiful and will provide many more years of love and cuddling than a quilt! Congrats on a glorious gift of love!

EllieGirl 05-23-2013 05:30 PM

I would say and I believe many would agree with me that he is your best creation. He is absolutely beautiful. He looks like he's about to bust out laughing. Anything else can wait. They grow up too fast! Every minute is precious. Congratulations! Blessings and best wishes from the Gulf. just want to eat him up, he's too sweet.

Wildernessties 05-23-2013 08:17 PM

Congratulations! Taking care of this adorable little guy is far more worthwhile than quilting. He'll grow faster than you can imagine and then you'll have more than enough time to quilt. Enjoy him while you can.

janiesews 05-24-2013 03:59 AM

Congratulations!! He is just darling. Quilting can wait while--enjoy him.

Sdwill 05-24-2013 04:28 AM

Amen and Amen

Karen G 05-24-2013 06:30 AM

I wouldn't worry about quilting, either! How sweet!

michelleoc 05-24-2013 06:40 AM

What a happy baby! He is just precious. Is he your first? Congratulations. I'll second what everyone else here has said...cherish the time, it definitely goes too fast. My son will be a HS senior next year and I think I'm going to have a harder time with that than when he went to kindergarten! I almost cried when I got the letter in the mail to schedule a sitting for his senior portraits!

cpcarolyn 05-24-2013 06:44 AM

So sweet. Enjoy you can quilt later.

Glenda m 05-24-2013 06:54 AM

Don't you just love it when you find someone new to quilt for? So cute and as others have said...Enjoy every minute, they grow up so fast. "Yesterday" my oldest was a toddler and I turned around and he is 'Yipes" 50. My husband told me to quit turning around. LOL Congrats to you!!

tenngal 05-24-2013 07:00 AM

That sweet little smiles deserves a cute little quilt!

BuzzinBumble 05-24-2013 08:27 AM

So precious and his smile just cracks me up! Congratulations and Enjoy every minute of your non quilty time with your little baby Eli!

Krystyna 05-24-2013 08:33 AM

Oh my goodness! What a sweet baby! I love his gummy smile!

Iraxy 05-24-2013 09:34 AM

You will have plenty of time to quilt when you are waiting for him to come home from a date. Meanwhile, enjoy! He sure is cute and sure looks happy to be here. Welcome Eli.

Stitchnripper 05-24-2013 12:00 PM

He is very precious! Enjoy every minute - it all goes by really fast!!!

SherriB 05-24-2013 12:55 PM

Oh what a sweetie!! His little toothless smile is just precious. :D

busy fingers 05-24-2013 01:01 PM

Congrats - what a gorgeous bundle. All of us "forum aunties" would love to give him a kiss and cuddle.

kathyd 05-24-2013 03:25 PM

Such a cute happy baby. My grandmother use to say smiles like that were because "the angels" were talking to the baby. Nice thought! I agree quilting can wait enjoy the baby while you can. It changes all too soon.

nygal 05-24-2013 03:26 PM

Oh what a doll he is. God bless him!!

Treasureit 05-24-2013 03:48 PM

Hi Eli...you are just a darling! I have a grandson with that same name...he just turned one in Feb.

Judith1005 05-24-2013 04:06 PM

Oh how precious. What a wonderful blessing!! Congratulations.

Wanabee Quiltin 05-25-2013 04:01 AM

What a cutie ! Sure wish I could hold him, haven't held a new baby for so many years now. I remember when someone told me that when a new baby is smiling, it's because of gas ! Still don't believe that, he just looks happy.

karenpatrick 05-25-2013 05:42 AM

Just bring him over and I be happy to rock him while you sew. You can use my sewing room while I rock.
