Merry Christmas and happy new year to all!

Do you know that starting today the days are getting longer??????? We are getting rain and snow and more rain and more snow through Tuesday and Wednesday. Going grocery shopping in ten minutes - gonna get home before it all starts, get myself hunkered down, wrap presents, cut up some rutabaga, make some dill beans and watch the Vikings. Who could ask for a better day?

Happy Yule and Happy Winter Solstice. I always look forward to this date because although it is the beginning of Winter, since the days begin getting longer, each day brings us closer to Spring -- something to really look forward to (more daylight hours for quilting)!
