Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from over here!
Or as we say: "Fröhliche Weihnachten und alles Gute zum Neuen Jahr! And as a sign that Christmas Eve is nearly standing at the front door: this is our "Adventskalender", 38 years
old and every year showing up how fast time is going on....

Do you know that starting today the days are getting longer??????? We are getting rain and snow and more rain and more snow through Tuesday and Wednesday. Going grocery shopping in ten minutes - gonna get home before it all starts, get myself hunkered down, wrap presents, cut up some rutabaga, make some dill beans and watch the Vikings. Who could ask for a better day?

Merry Christmas to you all also. Edie

Happy Yule and Happy Winter Solstice. I always look forward to this date because although it is the beginning of Winter, since the days begin getting longer, each day brings us closer to Spring -- something to really look forward to (more daylight hours for quilting)!

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you all.
When a dying man asked his pastor "How long does it take to die?" his pastor's heartfelt reply was "A lifetime." Live life to the fullest, but stop now and then to enjoy the sunset.
