Right there with ya sister!!! Husband snoring, 1 of 3 dogs snoring, dog (husky) and 2 cats sleeping on me. It's 3:20 I'm wide awake.

Everyone but husband gets up. I'm wondering how can I start sewing w/o waking husband as design studio is right next to
bedroom. In the end, bring laptop downstairs and here I am
typing. This usually happens a couple times a week.

What can you do???? Ha ha

Well more time for quilting soon. Have a great day!! :D :D

I have done this as well. If I can't sleep I start looking here on the board for awhile, from my Blackberry which follows me to bed. (We gave up land lines long ago) :)

I've been awake since 2 a.m. I talk to my friends about this - seems to be a "woman" thing. My husband sleeps soundly for HOURS. I'm lucky if I get 4 hours of sleep - then I drag in the afternoon.

Apparently not.....LOL.

My husband's sleep apnea nearly ended our marriage many years ago. The CPAP has really helped, but the dogs need one too! LOL. Still have interrupted sleep patterns as a result and it isn't uncommon for me to find myself here on the board. Especially since my Kindle froze up this morning right after downloading a new book. Argh.

Get some sleep.

Honey, you aren't alone except I don't have any snoring dogs, LOL! 3 am usually finds me here in the room we call our office at my desk paying bills or at the computer, answering emails, checking the message boards and figuring out what quilty stuff I'll do when it's 'time to get up' like regular people.

I go to sleep with my Ipad under my pillow. DH gets off computer (in bedroom) and goes to bed around 1am, then I am usually awake until 4am so I lay there with my Ipad to keep me company. Its amazing how much faster the internet is at night or early morning.

Not at all. I was on here this morning at 2:00 a.m.

I am frequently checking on the forum as soon as the new topics are posted. If I can't sleep I get up and sew or read. Maybe I get drowsy and nap in my chair or try to go back to bed. It used to bother me but with our lifestyle nowadays, who cares!

Did that for years ???pre menopause, and I sew so much, but happily sleep now.
