Aren't they just beautiful? I use to see them at 4:20am when I was driving to work. The whole family would cross in front of my car, so peaceful.

We have watched entire families come and go throughout the years and it really is enjoyable. The sad part of it is that the neighbors (closest one is 1/4 mile away) think they simply can't exist without venison so every year we lose a couple during hunting season - mostly visiting bucks who come in to court the does. If the hunters can't manage to harvest a buck we know that a couple of "our" girls will go missing also ........ that part I don't enjoy but understand that it's going to happen no matter what.

Is this a art quilt in the making? hehe

Very cool! I like that you have multiple generations come visit you. I have one that will eat out of my hand. She has been coming for years. The only offspring that I can really recognize is a buck. When he was little he ate out of my hand, too. Not any more. "My pretty", as I call her is nothing but a skeleton with skin hanging on her this year. So sad. But she is still as demanding as ever. They are truly a joy to watch year after year.

Had one across the road with twin fawns. They are so gentle looking. Could wake up to that every morning.

Your picture is so beautiful, your green trees and grass are to die for...here in Texas, it is hard to find anywhere where the grass is green...our poor deer, they are so thin...there is very little for them to eat...pray for rain for us...

I love the deer, we use to get the white deer in our front yard, my kids would go crazy with excitement and I pity the person or persons that would scare them away. One winter there was a mom with two babies, but I didn't notice the babies because of how high the snow was. When the mom got up to leave the babies jumped up, All I could hear in my house was mom mom come and look what she did, it was so cute.

I love seeing wildlife. I try to always have my camera handy. Can't go anywhere without it.

Great pictures
