A friend gave me this same double daylily. She has since passed away from ovarian cancer so I think of her everytime these bloom :-)

oh how awesome for sure .. I had daylillies as you walked out the door at the house in Denver, and put a few in here. Not too many tho, I am more of an iris fan !

Looks like they have reinvented themselfs through evolution, isn't it wonderful the plans nature takes. Geogeous.

We have them but not like that. I wonder if it cross pollinated with something else to come up with that type of flower?

Gorgeous. Lots of day lilies in our yard but nothing like that.
