that is called a mutation and you might be able to make some money off them if they can be mass produced for sale. they are realy pretty.

I've never seen them do this.So I had to go see if mine mutated -They haven't but they are still pretty- I love lilies

Your daylillies are beautiful and so unique.

Have you thought of contacting a local botanical organization/garden. Or even the horticulture dept. of a local university.

They might be very interesed in your flowers. You might in fact have a new mutation.

these are double daylilys. I have lots of them. They are much prettier than regular ones

I have some double orange day lilies but before I see them bloom, the deer eat them. Yours is beautiful.

I do have these in the my garden. Got them from a grower 11 years ago. Asked for a variety of lillies and these showed up. They were a surprise to him also.

Have not seen a day lily like that...but have seen daffodils doing a similar thing. Up teh hill from us is a field they call daffodil meadow and it has quite a wide variety of daffodils - many that look rather mutated. Very pretty. Thanks for sharing
