Guess he really wants your attention, or to give advice. I had one like that, only Mischief was an orange tabby, but he would effectively make me stop sewing. I had to draw the line when he tried to catch the thread moving through the sewing machine - he also helped me hand quilt my daughter's quilt by holding it down for me, guess he thought it was comfortable.

My solution is to sew for about 1 hour in my "cat-free" studio, then take a break tokitty-cuddle. It seems to work most of the time.;)

We have an office cat that comes and lays down on your keyboard when she wants attention. You can't ignore her!
