When my DS was in about GR 6 he and a friend got into the copy room and while Freind was on the lookout DS photocopied his moon. He has not lived that one down- I remember trying to have a meaningful conversation with him. I still laugh when I think about it!

Yeah, my son got me called into the principals office...yip, ME. He apparently had picked up a bad word and hand gesture from a neighbor kid and used it on the teacher. OH MY!!!! I was mortified. Now I laugh.

That gentle hint from her teacher is adorable!!!!

When my oldest was young (but old enough to know better) the next door neighbor came over to tell me she caught him and her daughter outside "checking each other out" if you get my meaning. I gave him a stern talking to about it. The mother was happy and left. Years later he asked me if I remembered the incident...yes I did. Well, says son...it was the girls idea! I asked why he hadn't said anything when I was chewing him out and said he didn't know...

I was helping with kindergarten round up one time and the principal was doing the coordination test. He ask one little boy to hop on one foot. The little boys reply was "It's too d--- early in the morning to hop on one foot."

When my oldest son (he's now 34) was in preschool, he got a game called "Ship Shape" from he grandparents. When he tried to tell his preschool teacher about it she thought he was saying a naughty dirty word.....S_ _ t Shape! So she proceeded to wash his mouth out with soap. Needless to say, I stormed in there and explained he was trying to share his new game with her and that in the future she was not to ever put anything into my son's mouth again. He survived as we all did and we laugh about it now.......he still remembers it vividly. lol

I remember bringing home notes similar to that for my parents to sign. I got great grades, but not so great behavior. I have a brother 5 years older, meaning a lot of colorful language passed down. Also, I talked a lot during class. The teacher was always moving me so I would stop talking, but when does that ever work. I'm just too friendly I guess :)
