Yesterday (March 13, 2009) my grandson was born. Tyler Dominic Highfield weighed 6 pounds, 14.5 ounces and is 20" long. Lots of hair and his mama's nose and mouth.

He is going to be a little heartbreaker!

By the way, he has great-grand parents and great-great grandparents here in Pensacola! I will be getting the 5 generation picture this afternoon to add to this post.

Thanks so much everyone! I am just so proud and happy! Can't wait to have him home tomorrow and really get to hold him a lot.

My son and his wife saw the baby Friday night. They really want to start a family now!

My grandparents were at the hospital today to see the new boy. Grampa really loved holding Tyler! Gramma did too, but Grampa held him the whole time we visited. And I forgot my camera, so I only have phone pix!! I don't know if I can send it to my email or not. Will have to wait for my mom to forward the pix she took.
