I have 4 rescued babies too. They are the best kind. Had three others before these who lived 'til their golden ages. We are all snuggled up this night and I know they are glad to be in where it is warm.

They all are so lucky to find such a wonderful forever home.

I always admired Spencer's good looks when he was your avatar. Rufus is no slacker either. I always attracted to dogs with that long haired coat. You have a great bunch. How old were they when you rescued them?

They look so happy and well groomed. Need I say the love they are recieving nowwill show much more than the abuse scaring. I have 3 kitties that are rescued. They own us and rule the roost. Lol. Marvel

Shadow looks exactly like the dog we lost
a year ago. We had her for over 12 years before
she died. She was part chow. Best dog we have
ever had. We miss her sooooo much.

Lovely dogs! Thank you so much for rescuing them. We always get rescue dogs and cats. Currently have two of each: both cats are from the county animal shelter, one dog from Humane Society (golden retriever and chow) and one from a woman in the country who claimed to be fostering 50 dogs in her house. We never saw them all together because they brought Jake (black lab and maybe german shepherd) out to meet us, but we could hear a lot of clamor coming from a room downstairs. I shuddered to imagine what it must be like down there.

Shadow is part chow also,so is Rufus.they are so mushy-chow mixes are a different kind of dog,they talk all the time

Like yours too. The shepherd sleeps with me every night. DH says she's doing her job, being a guard dog, but she's a bed hog and loves to sleep on the blankets.

Kai was a great dog. Shed like crazy but I loved him and miss him so much. Would actually consider another Husky b/c of him.

3 of mine are shedders,every dog I have had except Chance has been part husky,malamute,samoyed or chow -all shedders.it is just hair-the arctic type dogs have great personality

Agree it's just hair and also about their personalities. Just beautiful. We had a half Chow/half Samoyed mix. Lovely dog, shed like crazy but gentle unless he was protecting his house or his territory when we had a husky/malamute mix. Those 2 together were very territorial but great guard dogs.
