William gave me plane tickets...to go to Colorado Springs in April!! We had coupons for the tickets, and the boss is kicking in for the rental car!

I get to my son and grandsons for the first time in 3 years!! I also get to see my friend Diane again...I haven't seen her since 1998! We'll be staying with Diane...so savings there...

I am very excited for you! I know what it is like to not see your family for a while. I haven't seen my son, DDIL, and 3 grandchildren in three years also. They live in Kodiak, AK. I am praying for the opportunity to go in July. Just waiting for a good price on plane fare. Enjoy your family and your friend!

Thanks everyone! He really did give me a GREAT gift!! When he suggested the trip, I immediately started in on him! "How can we afford this?" For every question I had, he had an answer...the flight is free due to him getting bumped once last year when he moved a customer for work. The boss is springing for the car. Staying with Diane saves us motel bills. I was floored. Totally. :) About the only thing it will cost is gas for the car, and some meals and he's even got that figured out with gift cards that we have! His mom will watch Chip for us...

Have a great time! My son and his wife live in CS and we love going out there. I think it's about time for another trip. they have been here 3 times since we have been there (last April). Such a beautiful town. Several great quilt shops too! always have to check that out
