How about Charlotte. I had a calico just marked like your new kitten and her name was Charlotte, after "Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte" a Bette Davis movie.

I vote for Patch! A nod to the quilting and her calico coloring. She's a doll!

I think Joey can be a girl or boy. I know a blue eyed female cat named Frankie, after old blue eyes, Frank Sinatra.

My suggestion is Babette, Call her Babe

My husband and I went looking for a new kitten today. I already have two, a Maine coon boy and a Persian girl. The boy is a great hunter, but he is 13 and is slowing down. We were thinking that we needed another like him that he could train up to be keep the rodent population down outside. I found a Maine mix that I liked and we were going to go get that one, but decided to stop by the local shelter and see what they had. Hubby said it had to be a boy.

They didn't have too many and this little girl stole my husbands heart. She was a stray that they had picked up and had been at the pound a week. They said they guessed she is about 10 or 12 weeks. So we had to bring her home. She seems to really like people, and wanted to be held or sitting on us all the way home. I have her sequestered in my sewing room and she is quite playful.

So she needs a name. Any ideas? My husband normally does the naming of pets, but he takes forever. So any ideas will be appreciated. I suggested Pollyanna, and call her Polly, but he said she is not a bird.

May Calico's name is Peaches. Also I had a white cat named Precious. I like both names for a Calico.
