Hi All,
Not related to quilting, unless you count the fact that she is my new 'quilting' kitty. there was a lost/ abandoned, it's hard to tell in my neighborhood.... kitten I noticed a few weeks ago; it had a collar on , so I was worried about it growing... none of the neighbors claimed it , so.... I started feeding it, with the idea to take it to the pound.. ( seriously, that was the plan..) then one morning it was waiting by the dish I was using, came up to me, meowing, rubbing, and then the thing that suckered me in.... head butted me, and reached up and touched my face w/ little soft paw.At that point I said " I'll call you George.." Next day, back at the dish, lots of rubbing. loving up... so I have a new kitten, she's not really a 'george, more of a Puddin.

I have always heard that it is good luck if a cat comes to you. Maybe...try the lottery.

Our Mr Whiskers is a twin to Puddin'!! We got him last week when the little girl that had him had to get rid of him. Her family discovered her brother is allergic to cats. We let Mr Whiskers stay in the house with us and he is nearby all the time. The biggest thrill was when he went under our covers in bed, and we didn't know it! Haven't moved that fast in a long time. LOL!!

CarrieAnne 10-15-2010 04:07 PM

Shes beautiful!!!!!11

Shemjo 10-15-2010 04:16 PM

What a lovely Puddin. Enjoy.

great aunt jacqui 10-15-2010 05:17 PM

love black and white cats. someone said they were more intelligent. but I have no research on this. lol

Ramona Byrd 10-15-2010 05:35 PM

Yeah, that head butting, purring and little paw patting my face gets to me every time. And my Fredrica knows it, darnit! Can't make her get down and leave me alone, might hurt her feelings.

Your Puddin sure did luck out in getting a nice home, especially since winter is coming on and she would be cold and miserable outside all the time. She will give you years of love that you can count on.

Cats are really intelligent, some more than others. Puddin looks like my son's cat who adopted him as a kitten, never left his side till son joined the Navy. Then Warlock went all through the house hunting for him for a week or so, then moved outdoors and never came in again till son came home on leave. Warlock lived to be 21 and never came in till son was home and then Warlock followed him like a dog.

She looks to be in top health too with that shiney coat,

ROTFLMAO. Too funny!
By the way, Puddin' is a beautiful kitty. I'm a sucker for paws, too.

mollymct 10-16-2010 10:02 AM

Aw, Puddin is precious!! The other Puddin I know is black and white also...but a Boston Terrier! I'm glad you two found each other!

lalaland 10-16-2010 10:52 AM

She's a beauty and she picked you!! I had my dog with me when I was looking at kittens at my vet's office, one reached out and grabbed the dog's face with both paws and just held it. His name is Buddy, we've had him 2 years now, He's a love and always looking out for, and protective of, the dog.

bgullett 10-16-2010 10:53 AM

OOhhh so pretty - nice shining coat!

fratcat 10-16-2010 09:33 PM

what a beautiful addition to your family. You are one lucky person. she looks very relaxed and very comfortable. She has found a forever home.

TeresaT 10-17-2010 04:23 AM

That's how we got our cat. He came up one day and I started feeding him. While I was feeding him (my husband didn't know it) my husband was telling him to get lost when he would see him. Now we have a cat whose name is get lost that my husband worries about if he isn't at the back door first thing every morning.

catlover 10-17-2010 12:32 PM

I love B & Ws. Ours is named Jake. I'm so glad you claimed her. She's lovely. Get her fixed ASAP. She'll be such a wonderful pet.
