They are very pretty. It's still too cold for flowers here.

rusty quilter 03-09-2011 04:39 PM

You are making me jealous! All I see is snow and gray skies.

NCquilter 03-09-2011 04:40 PM

Beautiful! I love the purple and yellow ones in the last pic.

happyscrappy 03-09-2011 04:42 PM

ooohh, can't wait. very lovely to look at indeed. we got about 5" of wet, heavy snow overnight. so it will still be a bit of a wait for me.

emerald46 03-09-2011 04:45 PM

My knock out roses are blooming this week! Love those pansies.

mtspools 03-09-2011 04:46 PM

Those are gorgous. We may have some crocous soon.

Rose L 03-09-2011 04:48 PM

We had a few flakes of the white stuff today and it's still pretty cold here. Seeing your flowers makes me re-think buying a house here for sure. I was in OK last week and people were wearing shorts and tank tops AT NIGHT. The only thing that keeps me from moving south is that I know it's HOT in the summer. Your flowers are gorgeous! We had an early spring last year and I planted my tomatoes in March. Funny they never did grow much and the tomatoes were really small, but tasted good. Can you tell I love gardening as much as I love quilting? LOL!

bjnicholson 03-09-2011 04:49 PM

We are "hoping" to get some crocuses sometime. Who knows when though :( Maybe sometime in April??

roseOfsharon 03-09-2011 04:52 PM

luv-e 03-09-2011 05:33 PM

If it doesn't quit raining here, it's going to ruin all the spring flowers coming up...... We have Major river flooding here..Ohio River.................we also have the rain coming from Pittsburg too...

jemma 03-09-2011 05:52 PM

purple+ yellow are my favorite flower --heartsease--i know them as jonny-jump-ups i think the name got to me as a kid--they lift the spirits ---so well worth the effort to grow them

earthwalker 03-09-2011 05:55 PM

What a pretty display...I so love flowers, you can't be down for long if you go outside and revel in the beauty. Thanks for sharing....I didn't plant as many this year...too hot and too dry.

MinnieKat 03-09-2011 06:20 PM

I'm soooo jealous! It'll be months before we can have anything like that here. :(

marymm 03-09-2011 06:22 PM

beautiful.. I lvoe pansies.

Katia 03-09-2011 06:41 PM

I just love pansies. I used to always buy lots of them every spring up in the northwest. Even took my gramma to a pansy nursery once. I just about bought out the place.

I miss flowers so much. There are some you can grow, but not many. And what does grow the bunnys love to eat. Or it gets too hot in the summer and everything dies. And I really hate that.

Blue Bell 03-09-2011 07:08 PM

Beautiful. I love pansies.

Vickymomof6 03-09-2011 07:13 PM

I'm turning green! We just had 14 more inches of snow!

Well, at least it wasn't 14" of rain.

Though we have plenty of slush and mud, for all that!

Spring's not going to be here for a while yet.

Enjoy those lovely flowers!

sewingsuz 03-09-2011 07:45 PM

Yes I can tell you like gardening. It is way to hot here in the summer. I don't like that at all. We all have our cross to bear. Too cold, too hot, to much snow, to much rain, not enough rain. forest fires, mud slides. Cannot ever be perfect I guess.

sewingsuz 03-09-2011 07:46 PM

Thos in last pictur are call Johnnie jump ups.
