We didn't feel it, we're too far north!
The border is about 175 miles south of us. I have been through many many quakes. Only a few of them had me step outside. |
Mom always said wear clean underwear. You took it a step futher by having clean everything  Glad our safe. I've never been in an earthquake. Can I pass on the next one?

I was on the QB when this last one hit. I had all the windows open, and suddenly every dog in the neighborhood started to go nuts with the barking. I asked my DH if we were going to have a quake, but we didn't feel anything. Shortly after, we heard a strange clinking sound, and opened the cupboard to see our hanging glasswear swinging to and fro. The pull chains on the lights were really moving too...but we never felt any rockin or rollin on this one.

Here in CA we are so used to earthquakes, we barely notice them. Something has to fall on our heads or get knocked out of bed to make us notice. To tell you the truth, I don't know how the people who live around tornadoes cope...they are far more frequent and horrific than earthquakes!!

I think it is a lot safer to live in CA with earthquakes, than tornados, hurricanes and flooding. :| |
lmao! Yeah I worry about tornadoes and what I'd be caught running out of the house in. Not that anyone would see, but still.

I'm glad you're OK and didn't have to vacate the hotel in nothing but your birthday suit.
