this is a pic of my grandson, blake, and our newest baby who does not have a name; he is two weeks old and is a bottle baby, please help us name him!
What a cutie!! Both of them.
I am not good at naming cows. All our dogs are named after Mountain Peaks. |
Awwwwwww!!!! How cute. Sorry I can't think of a name.
blackie
not original - just descriptive |
he looks like a Gregory to me. like a Peck kinda distinguished
My oldest said Drew. Middle said Dexter. Son says to call it Bob.
How about Charcoal, seems to fit. They are both very handsome.
You could call it Coal or Cole (as in Charcoal) or Cinder. I like Cinder.
Rascal
when I was little and lived on a farm we had an angus cattle, the bull was named Rascal, he was a big pet, we could go out in the pasture and pet him, played with him, he would lay down and we would sit on him and he was so tamed that pictured remined me of Rascal. when he was born we had to bring him into the house in a small room to bottle feed him, it was winter time and had to keep him warm |
If he dosen't change color when he gets older, how about Midnight.
Or Midnight
How about:
Blackie Black Magic Smokey Miracle |
Did you use a new camera? the date says 2006.
He looks like a "Blackie" to me! :D
He should be named after someting to do with Texas Like Tex
or D U K E after John Wayne When he get a few days older let us see him then. they change so fast. We wouldn't want to name him and have him out grow it |
kiwi---black shoe polish
How about "Too Cute for Words"? They both are.
i changed my camera battery and i guess it defaulted to 2006
El Toro
What type calf is he. Black Angus, Herford, etc. Looking at his head, I would call him Tank
How about Midnight?
Max
Oooo, I like Tank. That's a good one, Niizh
Gordie, after the Gordon Setter, because it looks like he's got both black and brown on him. Yes, I know he's not a dog but that's what came to mind. Maybe it could be Gordie after Gordon Lightfoot. Is he lightfooted?
Hershey
With my dogs I named them according to their "nationality". Heidi is a Great Dane (German). Gus is short for Gustav Augustus, because my grandkids couldn't decide which they liked best. Gus is a Rottweiler mix, also German. Your calf looks like a black angus, Scottish or Irish. So think of maybe Mactavish or just Angus, something like that. I like unusual names for my pets.
Charger
Ranger Maestro Bob (Bob is always my go-to name :-) ) |
Since he's a bottle baby could it be he's Like No Udder! LOL
Bosco
Oh, I love Midnight. VERY cute!
You've got to name it after the characters in the Cowboys of Moo Mesa cartoon!
T-Bone
Dallas or Austin since your from texas
He looks like Gregory Peck to me, too.
We had a bull named Jet (like the stone, or jet-black)...or how about Onyx, or Pitch (pitch-black)? I've raised many bottle babies in my day!
I like Moo Moo
Call him ribeye, porterhouse, sirloin or hamburger. That's what he'll end up as, unless you plan to keep it forever as a pet. I was taught never to give a pet's name to a future food item.
T-Bone.
Oh I should have read all the responses before answering, I see mad quilter said the same  Great minds think alike |
Dinner.... Sorry that was an outside voice.
Sable, Storm. or Saber. Although, I did think MooMoo was cute.LOL
