I just watched the latest episode of NCIS...."Baltimore" NCIS is by far my favorite TV show. I adore Mark Harmon!! Anyone else watch it?

dakotamaid 05-04-2011 04:23 AM

Wouldn't miss it! Although Ziva is my favorite character.:)

donnaree59 05-04-2011 04:48 AM

It's my favorite show! Tuesday nights are about the only time I enjoy TV. And, Ziva is my favorite character too.... Love it when she puts all the men folk to shame (sorry to our men-quilters on here...well, kind of!).

dakotamaid 05-04-2011 04:49 AM

BUT.........America is softening her a bit.:)

Julie in NM 05-04-2011 04:50 AM

My family knows I MUST watch NCIS whenever its on. Tuesday on CBS and marathons on USA on cable. TV in sewing area is tilted so I can watch him. Just love all the characters but Mark, OMG. and yes hubby does know I'm in love with Jethro.

gunny148 05-04-2011 04:51 AM

MrsM 05-04-2011 04:55 AM

SuzyQ 05-04-2011 04:57 AM

Love it too though I don't often have time to watch it.

deedee75 05-04-2011 04:58 AM

I watch it off and on but I made a point to watch last night since Scott Grimes and Chad Lindberg were guest stars.

QuiltingGrannie 05-04-2011 05:00 AM

I love the show so much I named my longarm machine after Abby !
Love her energy.

LindaR 05-04-2011 05:01 AM

I love Tony, bad boy

gollytwo 05-04-2011 05:03 AM

I'm an NCIS - Los Angeles fan - love those gorgeous guys.

hobbykat1955 05-04-2011 05:03 AM

Ditto on all the above...Never miss it or tape it when not home. I remember the first time I saw Mark...The Ossie and Harriet come back show in the late 60's or early 70's...They were renting rms to College students and he was one of them...Remember his sister was married to Ricky Nelson...that's the connection. So Ozzie gave him his start. I also remember when he was the Sexist Man in the World on People's magazine....Boy am I getting old...

AlienQuilter 05-04-2011 05:06 AM

This is my favorite show. Although I did miss it last night. I'll try to watch it online today. Hate missing an episode!

My favorite is Abby. Not sure I could stand being around her for more than a few minutes. Her energy tires me out!

Gibbs is a cutie. This is the only serious role I have seen Mark Harmon in, and he's good at it. I wonder why his wife hasn't guest starred on the show. I loved watching her in Mork and Mindy.

Deb watkins 05-04-2011 05:44 AM

Pam Dawber is Mark Harmon's wife??? I didn't know that!!

ShowMama 05-04-2011 05:57 AM

My husband and I both watch NCIS. He'll even watch re-runs over and over. Unfortunately, I had to miss last night because my quilt guild had a meeting to discuss our upcoming quilt show. It's so hard to prioritize!

Enchanted Quilter 05-04-2011 06:04 AM

I have been a NCIS fan from day one I love Mark Harmon. We tape it so I don't miss a show. Love it!!!!!!!!!!

Maggiesmom 05-04-2011 06:11 AM

I never miss it. I love Ducky. I also watch NCIS LA faithfully followed by the Good Wife. Tuesday is my TV night.

Maggiesmom 05-04-2011 06:12 AM

AZTeri 05-04-2011 06:20 AM

Tuesday night is the one night that dh and I sit watching TV together - NCIS/NCISLA.. then we head to bed and I flip between The Good Wife and the new show, Body of Proof!

My favorite character? Ducky, followed by Abby :)

quiltsRfun 05-04-2011 06:41 AM

I watch it. Love the marathon reruns since I didn't get onboard with the show until a couple of years ago. It would be hard for me to choose a favorite character. Love them all. I'm a little concerned about what's going to happen next week. The previews seemed to indicate trouble for one of the team.

starshine 05-04-2011 06:49 AM

Love NCIS! Love all the characters too! We are coming up on the seasonal cliffhangers.

auntpatty 05-04-2011 06:52 AM

NCIS great show. My husband and I watch it all the time. I love all the charaters. They work so well together.

OKLAHOMA PEACH 05-04-2011 06:56 AM

Yes, one of my favorite shows, but missed it also last nite, if I had known Dancing with the stars first hour was a recap (my most favorite show) I would have watched it. 3rd favorite is Monk. So I watch tv Monday, Tuesday's and Fridays, the rest of the week depends on the movies on.

tealady 05-04-2011 07:29 AM

We got hooked on NCIS when we were visiting with our son at his Army base. when we got home, we immediately put it on our Netflix queue. Then we'd watch the current season on TV on Tues night; howvever, due to son's bball practice, I've missed a few episodes. Love Abby and Ducky. Anyone remember the episode where they go back to Gibbs' hometown? They show Gibbs as a teenager. The young man who played that part is Mark's real-life son.

debbieumphress 05-04-2011 07:49 AM

Love all the NCIS shows. Had Abbey Gibbs as one of my pets, I alwatys like to smack someone like Gibbs does. lol. Ducky is awesome, Tony is a pain, I love Zava and her antedotes and mixing up her sayings. I love everything about it I guess. And my MIT Probbie. LOL. Gibbs sees all, knows all, and shows up at the nick of time..... Hymmmmmmmmmmmmmmm???????
So that's who PatriceJ is related to. Glad she can't smack me thru the QB board. ROFL. Lord knows I deserve it once in a while. Good thread.

purplemem 05-04-2011 08:31 AM

I love NCIS and don't miss it. Last night's episode was one of the best ever. I, too, am worried about next week. It looked like Gibbs was crying in the rain...

Anybody want to speculate?

SuziC 05-04-2011 08:34 AM

I have that show on DVR....never miss it....it's the BEST!

Me either! Lucky girl! I also didn't know that his son played him as a youth. I thought it really looked like him!

jskbloomers 05-04-2011 08:42 AM

This is the only show my DH and I consistently watch! He will watch reruns, announce that it is a rerun, and of course, continue to watch. It is hard to pick which character we like best, but the show wouldn't be the same without Gibbs.

I didn't know until a few weeks ago. Seems like he has a good marriage...hasn't he been married a long time?..unusual for a lot of stars.

Anyone remember when David McCallum (Ducky) played Illya ??? (can't spell the last name) on The Man from U.N.C.L.E.?

That's because you don't see them being followed around by a pack of paparazzi. They're not your typical Hollywood couple. No headlines, no drama. That's one of the reason's I like Mark Harmon. Good actor but he hasn't gone all Charlie Sheen. I haven't seen his wife acting lately. Maybe she's devoted her time to her family. Whatever the reason, I respect them both and enjoy their work.

I remember that. This show certainly has a cast of good looking men who span the generations. LOL

hobbykat1955 05-04-2011 09:27 AM

Man from Uncle another favorite...And ducky is 75...looking good. I think Pam was in the first season..remember the lady who use to pick him up after each show in the sports car...look close...that was Pam. They only have one child and that was his Son Sam playing him as a youth...

Shemjo 05-04-2011 09:48 AM

Yup! Tuesday nites on CBS with Mark starting the parade! That is the only nite I watch religiously! I recognized Illya Kuriyakin, (spelling?) the first show I saw . How fun! NCIS, LA is okay, and then I must watch The Good Wife! Other nites the TV may or may not be turned on. I do like listenting to books on tape.

Just googled Mark Harmon and it seems that he has two sons:
Sean and Ty. Don't know ages. Hope that is correct and that nothing happened to one of them.

Threadedneedle 05-04-2011 10:12 AM

The best show on TV, bar none!!! I love Mark Harmon, he is so hunky!! I really like all of the people on the show and the stories are great. NCIS:LA is getting better all of the time. Who would think that a rapper like LL Cool J would turn out to be such a good actor. And I love The Good Wife. Tuesday is the very best night of TV for me!!

I am thinking that it will be McGee....he has lost a ton of weight since the beginning of the first shows, has lost that pudgy-kicked-around-smart-one to a mature intellect. And what ever REALLY happen to Tony and the Dr.....one point I saw that he lied about his feelings for her, then another where he is at her door expressing his love....

I love going to Internet Movie Data Base:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001319/bio

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364845/ (for the whole cast)

If you look at McGee's (Sean Murray bio) you will see that his step-father is in charge of the show so I doubt that he would be leaving it. He lost all that weight by dieting - eating all organic. I hope he does not loose any more.
