Hello, meet the newest member to my family. His name is Fiesty Max, he is 9 weeks old now. I have had him for 2 weeks and he thinks he is master of the house. I have outside cats and when they come to the sliding door he barks and growls at them. So stinken cute.
Thats a lap quilt I had made for my Granny before she died, she would love that he has it now.

tessagin 08-19-2013 04:47 AM

The little ones are the feistiest.

WandaVA 08-19-2013 05:23 AM

He is absolutely precious! I am owned by a Yorkie, so I know that "feisty" is an appropriate name! He may think he is master of the house now, but give him a couple more weeks, and he WILL BE master of the house!! Enjoy your new boss--they are the greatest dogs ever.

valleyquiltermo 08-19-2013 05:28 AM

Thanks everyone, I had a female yorkie abuot 10 yrs ago and she died, I was heart broken. Now I have another thanks to my BFF since we where 17 she got him for my birthday. Maggie Mae was the boss for sure. Looking forward to raising Fiesty Max.

marshaKay 08-19-2013 05:32 AM

I am also owned by a sweet Yorkie. I got her at one year old. They are so fast too. Yours is sure a cutie. My girl is named Bonnie.

quilts4charity 08-19-2013 05:43 AM

Adorable!!!

ruthrings 08-19-2013 06:11 AM

And I also owned a yorkie, Alex, who thought he was a big dog. He would go up to the neighbor's great dane and give him the "what for." Must be characteristic of the breed. lol

mighty 08-19-2013 06:15 AM

Very cute!!!!!!!!!!

fivepaws 08-19-2013 07:06 AM

That has got to be a Yorkie. We have one and they are just plain big balls of energy. Smart as whips too. Most interactive dog we have ever had in our family. Love her to death. You will have a great life together.

Mariposa 08-19-2013 07:10 AM

Awww, he's a real cutie! :)

RainyBC 08-19-2013 08:23 AM

Beautiful quilt and adorable little doggy. There is nothing quite like being owned by a dog!

onaemtnest 08-19-2013 08:49 AM

OMGoodness opening your thread and seeing Max ahem, Feisty Max just made my heart leap at his cuteness! What a precious BFF to fill the hole in your heart left when Maggie Mae went to the Rainbow Bridge... Our beloved pets that we lose never leave our hearts but there is such a huge vacuum when they leave.

I'll bet that you'd forgotten how much energy a puppy has in bursts, then a power nap and they're back at their job of being cute! I'm very happy for you.

bjrusty 08-19-2013 08:58 AM

He's so cute. Barb

DOTTYMO 08-19-2013 09:11 AM

Having ones 2 Yorkies mother and son. I know the pleasure they bring. How did you keep him still to take a picture. Blue quilt for a beautiful blue boy. I wonder if he will be long or short haired. Mother was long haired son was a short haired throw back.

Nan C 08-19-2013 09:30 AM

We have 5 Yorkies from 13 1/2 years to 12 weeks old. We have finally realized that it is THEIR house and we are just here to take care of it for them. Wouldn't have it any other way. Feisty Max looks like he rules already. Congratulations, he is really cute. Thank you for sharing.
