My friend in Michigan got an adorable great dane puppy named Gus. He is 9 weeks old and has feet that are HUGE. My chihuahua Sweet Tater was not as fond of Gus as I was.

Tater really is sweet, but not a Gus fan, to be sure! I think she was scared of him, he kept jumping on her. He weighs about 18 lbs and she weighs 7.

We had a Great Dane her name was Holley Maybeline. And we had a chihuahua mix Pepe, I would have to remind Holley to spit Pepe's head out of her mouth. He didn't mind, he would sit there all covered in slobber.

OMG! My daughter has a Harlequinn Great dane and another puppyt named Sweet Tater too named from some silly song my SIL likes. Greta is her name. Congrats. Poor chihuahua, renminds me of my Popeye when he was not happy. LOL

Thanks for the dane picture. I had one 35 years ago and love seeing them! I keep saying one of these days I'll rescue one.

I don't blame Sweet Tater for being upset...look at the size of those paws!!!! Sweet Tater is probably worried that he'll be stepped on.

What a riot! My Dad and I laughed at the photo of your Chihauha (sp?) I love the puppy! He'll grow into those feet! The first kitten I have had looked like Yoda. He had huge ears and a small head. His forhead would wrinkle everytime he was curious! The first time I brough him to the vet, the vet laughed when he saw him. This being my first cat, I said "What's so funny?" He chuckled and said "Look those big ears, and those big feet! He's going to grow into them and be one big cat!" And he was! To this day, even though Mickey has been gone for over 5 years, when I go to the vet, my vet and the techs still talk about Mickey. Hope you have as much pleasure from your puppy as I did with Mickey. And give your little dog lots of hugs and kisses. He nose is out of joint right now.

Well, I have been laughing and laughing at Sweet Tater. He looks like a demon dog. I know now how my pug felt when we brought home the chihuahua.
