For my New Year's Resolution I will:
-get below 150lbs this year. (Last year's resolution was to get below 160 and I did it. I started losing 4 years ago at 212lbs.)
-to learn to use all the functions on my new sewing machine, not just the few that I use all the time.
-to ride my horse more.

Those are all things I have control over, so I should be able to do them!

I don't really do resolutions. But a friend and I started walking every evening back in September. We got up to 4 miles when the time changed on us and we had to cut back to 3 miles due to it getting dark on us. The past few weeks we haven't been able to walk so I want to get back on schedule and try to get back up to the 4 miles. My weight goal is to not gain any weight and hopefully loose a few pounds. I've already bought my Mother of the Groom dress and I can't let it out. :)

My New Year's resolution? Not to make a New Year's resolution! ;)

I have been thinking about this thread since first posted and just wanted to share some observations. In the past, I made resolutions, thinking only of the What of the thing. For example, I want to finish some UFOs. I never went on to answer the How and When questions that naturally have to arise, to accomplish anything! So, one of my resolutions is to get my UFOs under control (what) by making a prioritized list of them, (ouch!), joining the UFO Challenge group on this board, and forgiving myself for having them in the first place (how). I will commit to working on them at least 15 minutes a day, for five days in the week (when). Maybe by taking these extra steps, I will get more done. We'll see!

Complain less about my aches and pains!

Have friends over for dinner more often.
