My boys call my mother in-law Oma.

My son called my Grandmother (his great) grapes grandma. So to differentiate between the grandmothers, all the kids started calling her grapes grandma.
My niece called the same Grandmother- Tower grandma because she lived on the third floor of the assisted living facility. |
Dama my DGD couldn't say grandma. It stuck only now she is a teenager its Gramma in public. she doesn't want to try and "explain" I would have preferred Nana but none of the grandkids called me that. And really they are the ones to decide right?

I am Meme - started out as Mimi, but Meme is easier to quilt onto the quilts I make for them!!!! The other grama is MomMom, and we both love our names.
The first grandson started calling my husband 'Poopa' but it was because he knew it was a naughty word (Poop) and my daughter put a quick stop to it!! I still love it!! |
I have a NaNa. We say it like nahnah. All my other grandmothers we say Grandma (insert last name). Except with my husbands family it grandma (insert first name).
