I don`t know who started the fried brain sandwich, but here in Wisconsin we love them!

Barbshobbies 09-24-2011 11:25 AM

Well maybe not every one, Son-in-law for one. But you should try it.

Unknown fact is our farm was given to a soldier by President Millard Fillmore, as payment for fighting in the civil war It was 80 acres in the Wilderness of Wisconsin, in 1847. We became a state in 1848. That President didn`t have money to pay the soldiers, and wanted people to come to Wisconsin to settle it, and become a state.

Anybody can fly their state flag the same height as the US flag, contrary to the Flag Ettiquette of the US. Those are only guide lines, not law, our First Ammendment rights to free speech trumps that.

I am just saying what you "may" do, not what I would do.

good for ariz. let them wear pink, sleep in tents and eat veggie loafs. or whatever. rather than sit around and do nothing all day, i think the michigan prisoners should go back to growing and raising and canning all their own food. like i do. and then they should sell all the extra to pay for their room and board. i think prisons should operate for profit. and maybe teach a skill while they're at it.

Dear the quilterslink, from NW PA. I was born in Oil City PA, in the NW. and I can tell you that much happened here. My Aunt and Uncle used to run the museum for the first oil well drilled in the USA. It was founded by my Great great etc. grandparents WHO CAME over from Ireland before the Revolutionary war.
