I love your views - beats city views hands down every time. This is one of the best known iconic views of Belfast - the twin cranes of the shipyard - we call them Samson and Goliath! Still, whenever I fly back into Belfast, I know I'm home when I see them!

What a great wake me up.

She smells or sees cow poop and says eeekkk. I see cow poop and think'manure'. I smell cow poop and think, awe, the country life. I love the smell of well aged manure.
You can take the girl out of the city and make her country.

Well, the view is priceless, and to those of us who have raised cattle most of our lives, cow poop smells like money. It's real good for raising roses, too.

I was a city girl but spent summers on my aunt & uncle's dairy farm; you get used to the cow pies. Its a small price to pay for such beautiful views.

OMG - I am afraid you would NOT survive in the country! There are worse things ya know:lol: But there is----slow traffic (if you get stuck behind a vehicle it is usually a tractor!)not having to "put on airs" fresh air......wait! there ARE alot of skunks! ha - so much for the fresh air! And just "regular" people! Could you even survive on a farm in Mo, AR, or TN for a WEEK?? ha! You just MAY fall in love with it!

I see or smell it and I think "oh GREAT seasoned fertilizer that will make my plants flourish!"

Love your view!!! From 1 TN farm to another....I love the picture of the pasture, cows and fresh cut hay rolls. We usually leave ours laying in the field a day or two (unless it is going to rain) just because we love to see them laying there...

And when I slip in a cow pile...I usually just say "Oops, stepped in a pile of money"  Plus...did you see my garden on the garden thread???? :D

wildyard 06-13-2010 08:27 PM

ohhh, post your lovely photos on our thread, show us your landscape!! I know the others would love to see them.

A few years ago my DH and I spent time in western N.C. and eastern TN. I had never seen so much green in my life! So beautiful. Jonesboro was one of my favorite places. We have considered moving to that area, infact.

gloryj8 06-15-2010 02:59 PM
