Beautiful. My bags are packed - how long can I stay?

charmpacksplus 06-10-2010 09:06 AM

I'll trade with you for a day! I have a small very flat back yard, one tomato plant, one cucumber plant, no cows, and a great view of my neighbor's six foot high privacy fence.

Come on. You can stay as long as you want - but you have to share the den with my crafts, some sewing, and everyone else that wants to enjoy our deck.
Would love to have the space for everyone to come visit and have a retreat.

Come on, but we have to be careful, Mother Robin is very protective of her babies at the moment. She has a nest in the corner.

Sure, but you have to teach me to hand quilt. I attempted it once ---- went back to my machine... much faster and even stitches.

Pineapple Princess 06-10-2010 10:07 AM

Beautiful pictures!

red roses 06-10-2010 11:51 AM

Jingle 06-10-2010 06:11 PM

Beautiful view it is, I can imagine the aroma when the wind is blowing in your direction. Sorry to interject reality.

scrappydoo 06-10-2010 06:23 PM

Oh what a perfect view! My hubby and I would like to retire to Tennessee someday, its so beautiful. Are you anywhere near Butler? We vacation there and just love that area!

Aroma has not been a problem even when the wind blows our way.

The Butler that is near Elizabethton, and Mountain City? It isn't too far from me. Maybe an hour.

wvdek 06-10-2010 07:14 PM

Your view is almost as pretty as mine  Cows are our nearest neighbor also. They just moved them back into the field a few days ago. I enjoy watching them. Looks like you have a big side yard to mow also.

We have robins building a nest somewhere high in our maple. Can't see it tho.

Bluebirds have two little creatures in the one box out front. Sorry no pics, mom will dive-bomb you. They just got their little pin-feathers. So cute.

Lisanne 06-10-2010 08:03 PM

She and family are doing great. We do our best to leave her alone. We do miss sitting out on the deck, but don't want to get in her way. They are growing fast and won't be long before they are gone and we will be......

empty nesters again.

littlehud 06-11-2010 09:05 AM

We have 80 acres with 3 horses and 3 cats and 1 dog and many birds.

HapaMom 06-11-2010 10:47 AM

*sigh* wish ours looked that green, I'd share pics too but nothing beats the Smokies and East Tennesseee!!! Except maybe Virginia's Blue Ridges  Please send rain! and Thanks for sharing! :)

pab58 06-11-2010 11:15 AM

Your view looks similar to my daddy's view in East Tennessee. He lives in Bowmantown (near Greenville). I have an aunt and uncle who live in Elizabethton. I might be in that neck of the woods in about a week or so. ;-)

seamstome 06-11-2010 11:17 AM

I must really be a city girl...all I can think is EEK!!! Cow poop!
