Now I know where the snow went! I've got a green lawn and buds on my hydrangeas

Your snow is absolutely beautiful and I have to honestly say I am very glad it is not here (smile). Merry Christmas to you and yours.

The photos are so pretty. I hope you don't think this is a ridiculous question, but when you get snowed in, how do you get out to shovel the snow away from the doors? I'm in Louisiana, so I have not had much experience with this type of weather.

Our doors open in. Most homes, without a covered porch, have a overhang from the roof that covers the step and we keep a snow shovel just outside the door. Everytime it snows we shovel out a trail. never let it get to deep.

Wow - it looks like a good day for hot chocolate and quilting! Stay warm. :)

I agree enough with the white stuff. Here in the Texas Panhandle we don't usually get much snow but this last week have had more than our share!!!!!

We had no snow up to Christmas eve, and it's made up for it since then we've got about 6 in of snow down now. The snow removal service has been around twice now along with the salt truck. It can stop any time lol

Pretty to look at, in Houston we have had rain for a week now. Cold bone chilling wind and rain, dogs keep tracking in wet leaves - getting tired of sweeping them up. Stay warm...

You can send some our way. We got about 4 or 5 inches before Thanksgiving and have had NO rain or snow since. We are way down on what little moisture we normally get. Hopefully, we'll get some soon.

You're in Roswell! Isn't there a friendly neighborhood Alien who could pick you up and fly you some places warmer.
