Just about every school system here in DFW area is closed. Work was closed yesterday, but we're having a delayed opening today.

I'm gonna see if I can get out & make it to work. I know that we're supposed to have another chance of snow tomorrow night &/or Friday morning.

Just talked to my mother and Pryor, OK got about 16 inches and the current temp is about 8 degrees.

Channel 6 news just said the temp was 3 and the wind chill was -9. My den has baseboard heat and it's 5 degrees colder in here than it was yesterday. I hate to see what my heating bill is going to be next month. The furnace is running constantly.

25 degrees in sunny Corpus Christi, Texas. Two more nights in the 20s predicted, with possibility for ice & sleet. Yall stay safe and try to stay warm.

Isn't this weather a little unusual for you all in the DFW and Corpus Christi areas?? I thought winters were a bit more mild for you. DFW is on our short list for retirement areas.... I don't like snow. lol

we are so cold up here in Enid...schools are closed again today, I do see the sun out there, but it does not fool me...

I have the car plugged in just in case I have to take son to work this afternoon though....

The weatherman in Quincy, IL said last night that we had 24.4 inches of snow. It was still snowing then, so I'm not sure. Our yard has drifts of 3-4 feet, but other places where you can see the ground. Wierd.

same here, whole yards are bare, and others are covered..the snow is so light and fluffy and it is so darn cold, it just does not stick to anything.

The weatherman said we have a 30% chance of snow thursday! Really??? This is South Texas...we moved here to stay out of the snow! If it snows here I will take Billy outside and we will make snowangels!

PS: No..I will not be posting pictures of me making a snowangel!

Not for DFW, it gets pretty cold there. For us in Corpus Christi, it's a record setting cold snap.
