I'm so glad you can laugh, it is kinda funny! I have to admit though, I'd probably make him clean it up.

debcavan 07-16-2011 03:34 PM

And why is hubby not cleaning it up. Yah Yah I know, I clean up my husband's goofs too

hopetoquilt 07-16-2011 03:35 PM

Sounds like something my husband would do so that I never asked him to do dishes again. Husbands/Wives can be devious like that. LOL

ncsewer 07-16-2011 03:35 PM

LOL I did that when I was a teenager. We were out of Cascade and I was just trying to help!

alices 07-16-2011 03:37 PM

Too funny, great way to clean your floor at the same time!

Lindsey 07-16-2011 04:06 PM

janell2009 07-16-2011 04:10 PM

scrappy happy 07-16-2011 04:16 PM

roflol

Grammashel 07-16-2011 04:22 PM

I accidently grabbed a capsule that was supposed to be used in the disposal and had the same results. Someone told me to put fabric softner in, it's formulated to get rid of soap/suds. It worked.

qbquilts 07-16-2011 04:36 PM

My roommate did that her first time using the dishwasher - she didn't have one growing up and didn't know you have to use dishwasher detergent, not regular dish soap. I was gone that weekend, so I didn't get to see the bubbles and only heard about them after the fact when she mentioned the dishwasher acted up. I pointed out the difference in soaps to her :-).

Dee G 07-16-2011 04:46 PM

When I was a teen & babysitting, I did that only I used TIDE. The lady was sick in bed. Her husband & I didn't have sense to shut it off. We just kept mopping and the suds kept shooting across the room. Lucy & Ethel all the way. I had never run a dishwasher before. I bet he still remembers it too :-) :-)

Sewing Joe 07-16-2011 04:53 PM

That's a mistake you only make once (or at least it was in my case).

Novice.for.now 07-16-2011 04:58 PM

Good way to clean the floor! LOL! Actually it happened twice for me in one week. First hubby and then DS. You gotta laugh.

Up North 07-16-2011 05:03 PM

Just hoping the dishes were clean after!! LOL

Glassquilt 07-16-2011 05:14 PM

Liquid fabric softener reduces suds.

sewnsewer2 07-16-2011 05:26 PM

Been there, done that when I was a kid.

scrappy happy 07-16-2011 05:30 PM

roflol i didnt know so many people have done this. Sure does make for a good laugh and clean dishes lol

CoyoteQuilts 07-16-2011 05:38 PM
