trupeach 11-28-2009 11:15 AM

It makes me fell like I look pretty dam good for my age. LMAO

Moonpi 11-28-2009 12:18 PM

Russell Crow still looks good to me!

Paul Newman looks worse than that - he died!
Paul Leonard Newman (January 26, 1925 — September 26, 2008)

STAR 11-28-2009 12:37 PM

Thats why I only watch them in the movies and not in the tabloids!!! but now even some are looking bad in the movies

THANK GOD you didnt have one of my pics.. I recall looking pretty darned good in my youth too!! you know I figure if your still here.. your looking pretty good. Its nice to know that even movie stars are human too.

Lisa_wanna_b_quilter 11-28-2009 05:48 PM

I refrain from negative comments on this for fear one of my "before" and "after" pics might get out!!! Although, truthfully, before wasn't all that great for me either!

Please explain to me how I went from too skinny to too fat without ever being just right!!

littlehud 11-28-2009 06:14 PM

Wow. I look pretty good for my age.

marsye 11-28-2009 06:16 PM

LMAO!

pal 11-28-2009 06:33 PM

"The older I get - the better I looked!!!!!!!!"

Ain't THAT the truth!

Shemjo 11-28-2009 07:53 PM

So it is true that not all men get better looking with age! :?

Crlyn 11-28-2009 09:27 PM

Isn't that funny, I thought I was the only one getting older! 8) :?

gramqlts 11-28-2009 09:50 PM

The way I look at it is "I worked hard for all these wrinkles and gray hairs and I deserve every damn one of them!!!!"

Glad no one has my before and later tho......lol.

Yeah, I agree. But we can't all be raving beauties when we age, right? LOL

MissTreated 11-28-2009 11:55 PM

Since all the "young" pictures of those guys are studio pictures and the "older" pictures were taken by paparazziwith probably huge lenses and then blown up (Judging by the grainyness of the pictures) and cropped, it would do justice to no one. (And I think Russell Crowe looks pretty darn good, too!)

the 'before' ones were airbrushed by the studios, so they might never have looked that good either. then there was that makeup. then there was cosmetic surgery. then there was my poor eyesight.

bearisgray 11-29-2009 11:14 AM

My DH looks pretty good for an old(er) man!

Always good go have something up there for comparison! :) :)

pal 11-29-2009 11:15 AM

When my friends and I look at our group pictures together, from
35 years ago, we can't believe how beautiful we all were. Isn't it
too bad that we don't feel that way when we're "there". I hope that in twenty years we'll look back and realize the same thing about today.

Nancy in Louisiana 11-29-2009 01:53 PM

All of a sudden I don't feel so bad about the 40 pounds that appeared over the last 30 or so years. And the "twins" may be drooping some, but when I haul 'em up in place I have the cleavage I never had then. So maybe we're improving seeing as we don't have that kind of image to keep up.

butterflywing 11-29-2009 02:31 PM

they don't get better looking, but some of them stay sexy-looking, don't you think? even though they look older? sean connery leaps to my mind, even though his leaping days are probably over.  and james garner looks older and not better, but still sexy to me. someone out there likes russell crowe, right? and paul newman looked hot into his 60's, although he certainly did not look as good as he did when he made Cat on a Hot Tin Roof in his peak. (he blew me away in that one and Cool Hand Luke  )

let's not forget tom selleck.

Shemjo 11-29-2009 02:41 PM

Hooray for Tom Selleck!

Moonpi 11-29-2009 04:49 PM

Some of us would add George Clooney to that list too - definatly looking good.

butterflywing 11-29-2009 05:31 PM

ooooh!

earthwalker 11-29-2009 05:33 PM

Glad I'm not famous....far too many opportunities for the paparazzi to catch you looking less than glam...not to mention the weirdos who rummage through the celebs rubbish bins.

Thanks for posting the handsome lads....but Gerard Depardieu, Charles Bronson and Brando....very appealing...the only pretty fella on my list of "nice to look at" is Johnny Depp.

Margie 11-29-2009 05:39 PM

Time sure marches on for all of us doesnt it!! Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I scare myself lol

So the 'before' pictures are a sure bet, and the 'after' pictures have not been airbrused, except to perhaps add blotches, adult acne and scars. Woudn't help a soul... but I still think Russel Crowe looks pretty darn good?! :D

Which picture is Paul Newman? He filmed Empire Falls, his last movie, in our town and looked as fine as ever. He was my heart throb for years. Now it's Morgan Freeman, go figure

pal 12-01-2009 07:57 AM

Mark Harmon - YES!!!!! He's happily married. I heard that he's taken in or adopted his sister's children.

He's way up there in the Handsome Meter!

paul newman isn't there. just saying.

hereca622 12-01-2009 11:20 AM

I would still take Richard Gere. He is a cutie.
I use to think that Robert Redford was so sexy. The last time that I saw him on PBS, I had to apologize to my eyes.

ROFL "aplogize to my eyes" ....I feel that way when I look in the mirror lately. Never heard it before.....however, there are emails going around about "Walmart Shoppers" where they take pics of real people shopping and the clothes they have on. OMG it is hard to believe that they go out looking like that....maybe they dont own a mirror and their friends and family lie to them and tell them they look good....anyway The person who takes the pics comments and one of his comments was.....I am going to go and pour bleach in my eyes...never heard that before either lol.

And I've said many times Men look better as they age....I take that back.

Quilt4u 12-02-2009 06:12 AM

Oh my!!!! I look better than that.

Bevanger 12-02-2009 06:18 AM

wow, i often wondered what those "musclemen" would look like as they got older :hunf:

DA Mayer 12-02-2009 06:44 AM

Do you have any pictures of females that look worse as they age? I bet they have the surgery to stay looking nice. Does make me feel better that I increase the same as my age increases. I always felt people look better with clothes on, unless you have an expetional photographer.
