Another short cut to cleaning showers, wax after a good cleaning. Works great if you have hard water. Do not have to scrub that often. (Just don't wax the bottom)

I hate cleaning my kitchen floor which seems to expand whenever it needs to be cleaned.
Are you saying there is a cleaner (Shark) that can clean them???

I have laminate floors and I've used everything manufactures and such recommend to clean them - I wasn't happy. Streaks, smudges, dust just pushing around, you name it. Well, today I bought the Shark steam cleaner because several of you said how well it worked for you. I am AMAZED! My floors look like glass! No smudge, streaks, yuk or anything!!!!

Ok, I've also used Awesome from the dollar store to get the stains out of rugs (love it!!!) and oven cleaner to clean my shower! It worked! All because you praised the products and how to's.

Thank you everyone! All the suggestions on sewing, quilting, products, recipes..... You are all the BEST!

I bought the one that goes for 69.99 - its the least expensive that I saw. I wouldn't use it to "clean" my kitchen floor - I have ceramic tiles. I would give it a good cleaning though and then use the Shark each eve or every other day (depending on how messy my husband is) and give the floor a good cleaning less often. My tiles are rustic with lots of "dents". As I'm getting older, I'm looking for ways to clean but not wear myself out. And I hated all the products for the laminate floor. The Shark works great!! I think I'll bring it next door to check it out on their tile floor. Their floor is white and very even.

I bought a steamer after a convo on this board, too. Not a shark though. The Enviro Steamer by Eureka. Despite the stupid name, it is wonderful.

I have heard that the steam shark is not good for laminated floors as it leaves to much water behind and it allows the water to penetrate the seams causing them to swell

is the shark recommended for wood floors that are not laminate? is there a certain dollar store that sells awesome, or are you finding it in all the dollar stores? i love this sharing site!

I bought a steam cleaner when I first got my laminate floors but it left too much water on the floor so I got rid of it. I am glad they have improved. Can you please tell me the model of the Shark so I won't get the wrong one? I plan to go out today and purchase it. I can't wait until next weekend.
thanks
