I am really broken from it & have had 2 failed back surgeries from it. Believe me, I do not recommend anyone getting out their shovel to do it themselves saying nothing about filling the wheelbarrow to haul the dirt away after digging it out! Stupid idea with great results!!

I am sorry about your back but you have a beautiful pond. The flowers and landscaping are gorgeous. DH and I are digging out stumps and already have a start on a fairly good size hole in the ground. Hummmmmmm

We used to have a BIG bull frog that would croak all night but the dang thing ran away or got eaten. These guys are just getting to the croaking stage. When they were littler, they would let out a "eeek" squeak sound before jumping in when anyone walks by.
We had 2 problems with the pond. First a blue Heron came and ate about a dozen fish then a raccoon came & ate all of my most beautiful biggest long-finned gold fish. Good thing is that I only bought feeder fish for about 25 cents & they grew into beautiful fish! Now the fish in the pond are the babies of those fish so I am waiting to see if they will also be beautiful or run of the mill goldfish!

The frog chasers are Weimeraners. They're 10 yrs old in the pix. & still in great shape for their age. The one on the left is "accident prone" & just recovered from a hematoma of the ear with surgery. They're a REALLY smart breed of dog. They learn everything easily & are so much fun.
