My GD and I went to the SPCA on Christmas Eve and adopted 2 beautiful cats, a mom and daughter. They're adorable and so lovable. I had to have my baby of 18+ years put asleep 2 months ago and my home felt so empty, now it feels like a home again.
They will have a good life with us from now on.

They are beautiful. I too adopted a new kitty (8 months) from Petsmart (though our humane society). I already posted a pic of him you may have seen him B/W??? My dogs are great with him, my 18 yr old cat still a little put out (she's getting better).

Bless you for taking two adult cats from the shelter. Adults are usually hard to place because people want the cute kittens. I adopted my avatar from a shelter, she was an adult, and is the sweetest cat. Before I got her, I had my Sasha, put to sleep. Like you, the house just felt lonely. One Sunday afternoon, I just went to "Look". And I didn't want another long-haired cat. Chloe was the second cat I saw, and I fell in love with her. I am sure you two will give you lots of smiles and giggles!

Oh, so cute! So nice to keep mommy and daughter together. Very lucky kitties. Hope you enjoy each other for many years to come.

So happy for you. A pet leaves such a great hole in our hearts. Lost one of mine over two years ago (my own fault...he ate a smoked almond) and still can barely manage to think about ot. You will cherish these two replacements and it will be great for all of you.

We did that over a year ago and have loved our mom and daughter very much. They make life happy and just require a lap to sit on or food in the dish. I can open the treat jar in a seperate room and no matter how quiet I try to be, they come running.

Thank you for adopting those beautiful cats. I have seven at home, and also volunteer 3 x weekly at local animal rescue. I only work in the cat adoption house. If i could, believe me, I would adopt more. Just love them to death and am so happy when I go to the shelter and find out one of the furbabies has been taken into a n ew home. They are so cute.
