OH.....You are making me so hungry for sweet juice peaches. YUMMY!!!!!!

The nectarines are good too. It's been a bumper crop for fresh produce this summer. I'm buying too much because it all looks good!

Any peach farmers in the crowd who would know?

You could be right. We had the coldest winter here in the UK for over 100 years and my plum, cherry and apple trees are so heavy with large fruit that some branches are breaking under the weight. Never had such large crops of fruit.

That must be it then. Prolonged cold temps in the winter make for lots of sweet, juicy stone fruit. High heating bills in the winter though, so I guess it's a trade off.

I've been told that our fruit crops over here are late. I have a friend that lives in Eastern WA, and bless her heart she meets me once or twice a year and loads my van up with fresh fruit and veggies! There is nothing available yet,so she is bringing me cull apples from the cold storage plants.
My cousins in Texas lost their garden last month due to the heat, and I can't get a darn thing to grow here because there's no sun!

I don't like fruit I have to shave, lol Never did like the taste or texture of peaches. No jam, no pie, no cobbler.
