I want to thank everybody for the compliments and comments on my pincushions. If you have any questions please feel free to send me a PM. I haven't had a chance to ask PatricJ about doing a tut yet. I've been very busy trying to get ready for the Tymeless Hearts carnival on the 25th. I will post here when I have a chance to talk to Patric.

They are adorable. Good job

I have been looking while out shopping here but I have not been able to find the jars yet. Are they easy to make?[/quote]
--------------------------- Look in the canning areas of grocery stores. These are the 4 ounce ones for tiny amounts of jam or jelly, though I can't imagine making amounts that small. I suspect these will be used more for crafts than canning. Good for keeping cat treats separate, buttons, etc. Pills maybe? |
are those canning jars?

Right now I have company in town and a carnival that I'm getting ready for. Thank you! I love these. My DH told me to put a shelf in my sewing area to display them instead of selling them. Sometimes I love that man. LOL! |
Oh yes, putting them on display would be so fun!!! Love that idea, too.
|
I would like to buy one

I make one like this but use a wide mouth pint jar and it is a full sewing kit.

Thanks for the tutorial site.

I bought these same jars to make something similar about 6 months or so ago. Now to go find them.
These are cute. |
Carrie I LOVE those!!! Great job - they look adorable!!! I love those low jars too - will be stable when you're reaching behind the machine to put a pin in it. And thanks for posting the link to the tute - I don't have time even to sew lately, but I will bookmark it for a "someday" project!
:D |
Girl you rock. These are so pretty. I hope they sell well. They would be nice just to have and not use. You are a very talented lady.Helen

Thank you, thank you very much. :-).
I found that on another forum they were talking about my jars. How cool is that? |
Those are so cute!
|
What a cool idea. Could you at least tell us what you stuff them with? I love them. How much do you sell them for?

Edited to say: use a poly/cotton batting to stuff these. 100%cotton batting is hard to stick the pins in when rolled up in a ball. |

I was thinking, find a small jar that you have around the house that you can use with those kind of twist on lids and rings.I don't know how small they make those lids.Connie in CO
