Your hubby comes in your room? Mine comes to the door, looks in and shakes his head and leaves.
Yes, he comes in the room, but mainly to give me a kiss before he heads upstairs for the night. If he is vacuuming the 2d floor, he will run the vacuum on the carpet in my room.
Silly me..............I looked and I found the pattern that you sent on line...Thanks soooooooooooo much.........Nancy

hope all enjoy making this one it is a nice size.....found a chicken one too....

I made one of those pincushions when the pattern first came out.... I am so pleased with it, no more threads on everything I touch..... took a copy of the pattern at the same time, was so pleased as I couldn't find it later on... I couldn't remember where I got the pattern from and still can't.... also a plastic cup is good to put into it otherwise when emptying the threads out the threads are inclined to stick to the material... is one of the better things I have made as it is so handy... I put wool in mine and four sinkers from my husbands stash.....
i am not going to be pushy i would just appreceite the pattern thanks dorothy from tenn

I've been searching for where to buy the emery grit for pincushions. it's the stuff inside the tomato pincushions from the stores that keeps your pins sharp.
Sorry babeegirl I have no idea....maybe you could use an old one from a tomato
Sorry Cathie, but this is not the one, that is made up of hearts, the one I was after was a flower pattern with petals on top..... have seen it somewhere lately but just can't figure out where.... thank you for your trouble... much appreciated.

That daggone strap.....I didn't understand it but here is what I did I think anything is better than nothing...just make something close to a strap....:-) triciasquilts When I do anything that requires a strap, I cut my piece of fabric wide enough to press the edges in once and then fold and press together. Then I do a straight stitch down both sides. This eliminate having to turn them and they come out perfect. I will use spray starch when pressing to help hold before sewing. Hope this helps all with making them |
Looks ok to me
GCathie, those are so wonderful. Thanks for the patterns. Someone, maybe you?, sent me a chicken from the Frenzy group and I love it. And your bag is so much nicer than the one I made with the rectangle cushion! Did you put non-skid on the back? I doubt it...probably didn't need it. Thanks again! Merry Christmas!
