I thought about the strap for about 2 weeks and as I was about to show an embroidery friend who teaches that craft, and also sews, it just came to me as I was handing it to her... strange things happen sometimes... so I then took it home and finished it.... I just love this pincushion... it would make a very lovely gift... especially this time of the year.

Gcathie: Thank you so much for the pattern for the pin cushion. I just found the thread and am thrilled. This will be something I can make up for each of our quilt group members for the gift bags for our retreat. Wahoooooooooo!

MsSage: You are most welcome. I can't take credit for anything, I just happened to bump into the pattern while I was checking out something else. I've found I like to click on the board member names to see what they have bookmarked then I go to their bookmarks. I've found some of the best stuff this way. I just love finding these wonderful patterns on this board. Already I have a dozen 4 1/2 inch squares cut out and plan to get some of these made this afternoon.
