The new season starts next Thursday. Will you be watching?
There are a couple of bloggers that do a project Project Runway with "fashion" dolls. I'm really thinking about looking for a doll to play along. I'm not fond of Barbies though so I think I'll look for a Bratz doll or something similar. I have two giant tubs of interesting fabrics I can make doll clothes out of. That would be my "challenge" for the whole season, to work with only what I already have. |
Yes, I'll be watching. I'm still trying to puzzle out why I watch it. I'm not particularly interested in fashion, don't care for the little dramas or hearing about who lost.
I do find it interesting to watch them rush around for their supplies and seeing them put something together. I WOULD, however, LOVE to see what you come up with! |

I know that part of what I like is seeing what they can come up with with crazy stuff to start with. I'll probably blog my project as soon as I can figure out a name for it. Project Runway and Project Project Runway are both all ready taken of course. |

Making Memories has some marvelous patterns for dolls, ranging from a baby, to children, to my favorite 27 inch lady doll, up to a 5 foot 4 inch lady. And there are boys and men dolls too, all of them have patterns for clothing, Victorian and French Court dress.
I have the 27 inch one and she is enchanting and fascinating to make clothes for. My granddaughters all loved her, but she's staying with me for a while yet. Now if it were only that easy to make my own clothes... |
I'll be watching.

I enjoy the show. I love seeing what they come up with.
