As with any big change in any one's life, I think there has to be a "This isn't going to work" and "I hate this" phase. People scream, cry, pull out their hair and swear that they are not going to do it the "new" way. Well, there is no option to go back to the old way!! It is time for everyone to realize that the change is here (sounds like menapause, doesn't it!) to stay and learn to adapt. It is a sad day if a person makes a conscious decision to stop learning. . . How would you ever learn a new quilting technique if you chose not to learn? It's too bad that some feel the need to leave because of the changes. But I also understand that the new format could be very daunting to those who are less computer savvy and those afraid to push buttons on the computer. Those that want to learn will stay, those that don't will go.

No one likes change when they don't understand the program. You will get used to it, just browse around and see what is there. Did you learn the computer in one sitting - probably not, I know I didn't. After a while it will come easier and you will wonder what you were grumbling about in the first place. Have a little fun with the board and try new things. When you learn new things, you feel a whole lot better. Good Luck to everyone out there. We will survive!!

Well said!

Please tell me how you did it. I want to change mine to and can't find the place to do it. Thanks.

Well said!!! We WILL get used to this format....just keep working at it...
Remember when we started to learn how to write in cursive??? It was very hard...but it sure has become second nature now....

Since we all have the opportunity to be part of this great forum and not have to pay membership dues, I will gladly learn how to use this new platform that's been provided for us. Thanks to our benefactors! Not having this board at all would be the real hardship.

I don't mind the new format and I'm finding my way around not too badly. I just hope they bring back the Unread Topic feature so we can see what we've read and what we haven't....that's what I'm really missing the most
