Another bearfoot gal here. Just the thought of putting on a pair of heels makes my knees ache. in fact I no longer even own a pair. Have to say when I'm at a sew in or workshop I sew with my shoes on, it's a challenge but I don't think others would want to see my beat up feet. May in Jersey

Being diabetic I have to keep shoes on all the time, but doubt I could sew in my heels, they are 3"-5" usually!

I too "drive" barefoot (not my car, my sewing machine) I spend most of my time walking around my house with only one shoe or slipper on. I'm currently taking a FMQ class at my LQS and I am the only one in the class that does it barefooted.

I used to never wear any shoe of any type inside. Now I have to wear slippers. Habit. Sure do not know how one could sew with heels or shoes. Guess it is whatever we get used to.

Wear heels at the sewing machine? But of course, dahling, and pearls, too, and my hair is always perfectly coiffed.
Seriously, it would never occur to me to wear heels when alone at home, not for any reason. |
Glad to hear I'm not the only one who sews barefoot.
|
socked feet or barefooted! Not even my big slippers on while sewing. I saw some program recently where the woman who was sewing took off her shoe to sew!

i only wear heels to quilt when i am wearing my june cleaver dress and pearls. the rest of the time it is "barefootin'".
