yup--I sometimes lay in bed thinking about a quilting design for a quilt. I had someone ask me how often I sew each week--said that I piece or quilt about 2-4 hours most days.
Ha! Well I've been thinking I need more "balance" since quilting/sewing is all I want to do...shouldn't other things be interesting as well? LOL
When I have a hard time falling asleep at night, day-dreaming and thinking about quilts always soothes me to sleep. Anyone else use quilts to make them sleep?:)
I am totally obsessed. I do think about quilts while falling asleep. I sew on quilts, cut or quilt 4-5 hours a week, at least 6 days a week. I do laundry and chores before and sometimes after sewing. I donate most quilts.

Oh yea! I tell everyone it's addicting like chocolate! LOL! I quilt every day and rarely take time off. I go right from one project to another one, but try to stick to one project at a time. Sometimes it's really hard to do! ;-)

It is addictive! I think about quilting constantly. My problem is that I also am obsessed with genealogy, so I feverishly work on one for a few days, then switch to the other. Unfortunately my space is small, so I have to constantly clean one thing up before working on the other!!

I actually have a few "obsessions" which I prefer to call "passions". Quilt is the main one, but not the only one.
We were on a tour once and a lady said she was also a quilter. Several times I started a conversation about quilting but she wouldn't talk about it so I stopped. DH later said to me 'she's no quilter otherwise she'd talk about it with you'. Yes, I'm I obsessed!

Your timing makes me smile. I currently have my DD and SIL staying at my house waiting for their home to be move in ready. Yesterday, SIL stands in what used to be my work space, and proceeds to inform me that based on what my space now looks like, I am a "borderline hoarder"! I just informed him that where their queen size bed is now set up, used to be my fabric and supply storage room, and when it was, the two huge cabinets and two dressers lived in that space. When that space was still mine, my work room was nearly empty. Good thing I like him, or it could have been an ugly confrontation. Lol.
